Festival Time

An international line-up of speakers including Winkie Pratney, Ross Paterson, Graham Cray and Sharon Anson has been drawn together for this year's Living Water event at the Royal Norfolk Showground, Norwich, in May. There are programmes for all age groups with Norwich Youth for Christ leading the programme for young people and Wavemakers the programme for children. This is a renewal event for all the family and will feature worship led by musician Andy Piercy of Holy Trinity Church, Brompton. "The inspiration for Living Water came as a result of a group of people from two Norfolk villages attending the New Wine summer festival in the West Country," said organiser Stephen Mawditt. "This proved to be a life-changing event for the individuals and the churches they came from. Living Water was established to bring that sort of experience within easier reach, particularly for those living in Eastern England. Living Water '98 was attended by 3000 people from across East Anglia and beyond. "Many people have found from experience that coming to a Christian event like Living Water can have a profound and lasting effect on both individuals and chuches," said Stephen. "Come to Living Water '99 as an individual or as a family, or best of all as a church, and we believe you'll go home after the event excited and renewed." You can camp on site, or book local accommodation with special deals organised with some of the local hotels. You can come for the whole weekend or visit each day. Booking fees range, dependant on age, from £10 to £35 for the whole weekend.
